Based on my active and basal metabolic rate, the amount of calories I require in a day is 1976 calories.
Healthy Diet Pyramid
According to the Healthy Diet Pyramid, these are the number of servings from each food group that we should eat every day:
Rice and alternatives: 5-7 servings
Fruit: 2 servings
Vegetables: 2 servings
Meat and alternatives: 2-3 servings
Based on the healthy diet pyramid, I will analyse my diet.
Day 1:
Total: 3 servings of rice and alternatives
2 servings of meat and alternatives
1 serving of vegetables
Analysis: I am not eating enough servings of rice and alternatives, vegetables and fruits but I am eating too much of oil and fats (MacDonald's fries).
Day 2:
Total: 5 servings of rice and alternatives
3 servings of meat and alternatives
1 serving of vegetables
Analysis: I am eating too little vegetables and fruits,
Day 3:
Total: 4 servings of rice and alternatives
2 servings of meat
1 serving of vegetables
Analysis: I am eating too little vegetables, fruits, and rice and alternatives.
In general, I did not eat enough fruits and vegetables over the three days.
